Final Show of 2012!

Yep Christmas is almost here and this Sunday will be my last show of the year and then I am going to take a break to focus on my band ,but will be back in April. So this Sunday its just me and a pile of C.D’s.

I have loved the last eight months at Resonance and to spend your Sunday with talented musicians has been an absolute joy. Have a wonderful Christmas and New year and I look forward to bringing more amazing acts to you next year.

” She’s Got It ….”

This Sunday is the sassy Kathleen from Kat & Co a Blues Band currently finishing their debut album. Kathleen came to Resonance last Sunday with her guitarist/ Producer Francesco and did a fabulous stripped back live set of their new material. You can really hear she comes from a Gospel background . When she starts to sing ,you know she means it.Even if Blues is not your thing I think you would find it very hard not be drawn in by her. She is the real deal. The engineers that day James and Francisco were really impressed and said they had no work to do when it came to the sound because of her voice being so impressive.
The photo above is of her C.D of chosen tracks she brought in….Dave Arcari and Stoneblower have competition on the organisation front it seems!
The chat we had was far too brief ,I felt I barely scratched the surface so next year I will invite her back on to find out more.
